I would like to believe that technology has influenced the development of the entertainment industry of Zimbabwe. it is because of the emergence of the new icts that the Zimbabwean entertainment industry but we should bear in mind that this has also come with negative impacts on our local artists for example Sandra Ndebele.

Our very popular Sandy gained most popularity due to these new technologies. Posts about Sandra Ndebele going viral were posted all over social media networks which in turn tarnished the image of the artist.
Due to this even today Sandra still carries that image and most people still do not believe that she has changed for the better. She is married just like other normal women in our society and has a normal family but the media tarnished her image to an extemt that its hard for people to accept that she is a normal woman who even goes to church at Brethren In Christ church.
Yes we love the information technologies because they help us gain popularity but what about negative popularity what can we say about being famous the wrong way.
I was shocked when i saw a Sandy's Facebook link on google.It says the "Unmatcheable Sexsational Queen of all Times." Can you imagine how her husband even feels when such a word is used to refer to the mother of his kids all this is a price that comes in with social media.
